Our Second Snow Day
consisted of....
Building a toddler sized snowman
Creating a monstrous sized snowball
Getting warm clothes to go throw snowballs
With the neighborhood fellas
Watching the snow pile up on our backyard chairs
Brayden and his buddies were driving back from Salt Lake and got stuck for FOUR hours on I-15
Here they are on the verge of losing their minds.
It took Raleigh 30 minutes to get home from work in 4 wheel drive
And Church was cancelled for the entire city.
It was such a fun Saturday

Funny that the whole town shuts down with what we call a skiff of snow. I know the city isn't prepared to handle it but it is still funny to me. Your girls building a snowman is so cute. I would have been a wreck with Brayden stuck in the road in it. I'm a mess with the whole driving in the snow thing.
Wow, that's truly amazing, especially since STG really didn't get all that much snow normally. I know its not fun driving in it but it sure looks pretty if you can stay home and drink hot chocolate by the fire.
What is happening to our city in the desert?? Our outdoor thermometer says 7 degrees at 8 a.m. This is just too cold and too white for me!! Thank heaven the kids are enjoying all this fun. I'm so thankful that Brayden got home safe with no dents in his car or in him. Happy, too, that Raleigh got home safe, but if he hit anything it would be the other person with the damage.
I hope everyone does well today being out and about. I guess Dad isn't playing golf, maybe he can drive me to WalMart.
I am not a snow fan...have pretty much hated every minute of the last few days...except for pelting my hot hubby with a snow ball...that was a little fun.
I am glad the girls are liking the snow and enjoying themselves. They look darling and cold.
