Maybe it means that I am simple minded... but it really doesn't take that much to make me happy. I love laying in bed and listening to Raleigh breathe. It is rhythmic, and soft and makes me feel so safe. I think my Best Buy Coat is one of my greatest treasures. It's horribly ugly but it keeps me so warm all day long and it has my name on it. I could literally wear my yoga pants all day, every day. I wish I could wear them to church. They are magnificent.
I realized that it is the simple pleasures in life that make me smile everyday. How can you not love things that make you smile?
And so......... I celebrate you.......
I celebrate you...Ipods in general.
But specifically, Morgan's green Ipod which contains every Justin Bieber song known to man and since she knows exactly where you keep it and can turn it on and can miraculously get to playlist Number 3 every single time..... Sissy can enjoy hours and hours (and by hours, I really mean about 23 minutes) of danceable entertainment that allows mom to get the dishes done.

The shampoo of my teen age years. I am so happy Walmart has seen fit to bring you back into my life. I love the memories of Depeche Mode concerts, getting ready for Stake Dances at Wendy's house and getting cleaned up after a day at Laguna Beach that you bring to me with each and every use.
And snow melt.
And afternoon walks with TWO babies in my double jogging stroller.
And open doors airing out all of the sick germs of Wintertime illnesses that WILL BE a thing of the past... Right Raleigh???? No more sickness?
I celebrate you.... My new IPad.... That I LOVE!! With my scripture app. That makes them not only easier to read, but way more fun and informative. And my stake directory that is now at my fingertips. And as soon as I can figure out how to add them by myself.... many more life improving apps to follow.
I celebrate you.... athletic husband. Who invites me to go and watch you play each and every sport. And I think that you are so HOT. And I am so proud to be your wife. And I sure do love your toned up, sportsy body. YUMMERS.In conclusion, I celebrate the simple things in life.
For in simple pleasures we find great happiness.

Well HELL your simple blog post was WAY better than mine!
The simple things are always the best things...I am glad you too are surrounded by so much every day happiness.
I sure love you and think the world of you!
love your post.
we're in the market for an ipad. any recommendations? tips? tricks?
can't wait for spring too!
That was a great post. I love the part about the basement keeping the stinky teenagers away... I am so in need of a basement! Not that my kids are stinky all the time, but it is coming quickly. Driving home from football and baseball practices are just about killing me. Especially when I have four sweaty boys in one small car! I am considering purchasing a bus so I can have them sit at the back... far, far away!
I am glad you are finding pleasure in the simple things. It in no way means you are simple minded, just the opposite. We all need to take time to realize how blessed we are.
This is such a cute post, Kac. It was sure fun to see you today, even if only for a few minutes. Kaleigh is so beautiful, especially her BIG, blue eyes...I love them and her.
It really is all the simple things that make this life so amazing. I'm so happy that you have so many simple things to be thankful for and I'm especially happy that you take the time to notice them. Life isn't always rosy but it sure helps to look at all of our blessings and count them one by one, even the little things.
Oop's that's me above, I was signed in on Kami's acct. (doing a little editing).
This was a great post! I love all your simple pleasures! Those little ones are to die for. I also think I need a basement. When we built this house we thought it was just perfect. Now it needs a bigger kitchen/dinning area and a basement!
I'm so glad that you are finding joy in the simple things in life because seriously, the small and simple things is what really keeps us going in the everyday big world.
Oh and I think I need a pair of yoga pants! Hmmm....
Take Care,
JoLynn
Oh Kac... Thanks for such a sweet moment of nostalgia... Walmart, you say?
I gotta get me one of those green ipods. COOL!!!
Love you so much and can't wait to meet your sweet babies someday. (Thanks to your great blog, I feel kinda like I already know them.)
Wendy
