When they are big...

they drive themselves to school on the first dayHere are my freshman and my junior.
My freshman looked darling.
My junior, on the other hand...
wore cut off brown pants, an old white t-shirt...
black skater shoes resembling slippers...
and black socks that he swiped from Raleigh's drawer...
pulled up to his calves
I couldn't get up the courage to take a picture of it
much less post it
Here is my seventh grader.
On her first day of junior high
She rode the bus with her cheerleader friends
Here is my fourth grader.
She rode the bus tooAnd this is what I looked like...
I had no responsibilities whatsoever.
Wait... no... I take that back...
I shelled out
$80.00 for school lunches
$34.00 for PE uniforms
$8.00 X 3 for lockers
$20.00 for gas
$5.00 for a parking pass
and
Hugs and Kisses
Good Times

Oh yeah I'm feeling your pain with all that money you forked out and I'm feeling your pain on your son's clothing choice. For the most part Blake looks pretty decent. However, he always wears these stupid black Nike socks that go half way up his calf with Nike flip flops or slipper like shoes. Weird! Oh and Wednesday he had on a Jason Kidd basketball jersey, his hat on backwards again with those stupid socks and flip flops. I was thinking if I was a girl in high school looking at boys I would think he was a dork. Then I thought...hmmm....maybe that's not a bad thing then the girls won't bother him. So I hear ya on of this. Hang in there-your a great mom!

Take Care!

I'm so happy you posted these new pictures. I've been thinking about the kids all week and their first days of school. They all look darling...well except for...you know (I've always told you girls are easier and much more fun!!) Anyway, sorry about all the money...some of those kids really need to get a job! I think it's so fun seeing the older kids drive off to school together...who would have ever thought that B would grow up and learn to drive (now if he can just learn to dress cute!!) It looks like you still have your hands full at home...good luck with that.

Brayden will be a hit...he is very trendy...black sock to the calves are so in now! If I wore shorts I would pull black sock up to my knees too!
They all looked so cute...and grown up! This will be a fun year with a driving teen and a cheerleader!
As for the three and a half of you left behind...cute picture...you seem very cheerful for the morning time!

Love you all!
