Week's End...

I love when Raleigh has weekends off. It is so much better... for me
We drove past the Old Tabernacle/New Temple. It's going to be so cute.
Peyton got to go for a leisurely bike ride.
We are thrilled that she is no longer terrified of her bike.
Morgan and Marissa went to the Festival of Colors at the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. And threw chalk with 50,000 strangers. Then they came home and stained my bathtub and blew purple snot out of their noses all night long.
And Quincey ruined a good pair of Toms
And one of my favorite t-shirts.
All in the name of welcoming Spring.
Do we really need to welcome it? It's coming no matter what.
Do we really need to fill our lungs with colored baby powder
along side tree huggers and hippies?
What a gross and I am certain extremely unhealthy activity.
Then we met for steak and baked potatoes at Casa Lund. And as you can see, the unibomber was there. When she puts her hood on at the dinner table, we just leave her alone.
Then Raleigh treated us to a Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler. He is a Dutch Oven Master. It was so delicioso!! My next request is Apple Cobbler and then some sort of MEAT and POTATOES meal.
If we have a natural disaster... we are going to eat like royalty.
So yummy
What a weekend!

What a fun weekend! I think the new temple in Provo is going to be my favorite...I love it's exterior look. Peyton is becoming such a big girl, she looks so cute and grown up on her bike. I don't get the whole Hare Krishna thing but the girls sure do look colorful. I am so impressed with Raleigh's Dutch oven skills...the cobbler looks divine. Fun times at the Lund Home...thanks for sharing!

What a great, fun-filled weekend. I have never even heard of the festival of colors. It sounds crazy. I am hoping Raleigh can teach Russ some dutch oven skills. Heaven knows he could put them to use since he has been the scout master for almost 5 years and there is no talk of him getting released anytime soon :(
Peyton looks darling on her little bike. She is growing up so fast. Can't wait to see you all.
