Not a bad first day......

2013 is upon us and we started the year by celebrating Christmas with the big kids.
It took Raleigh and me 4 months to buy all this stuff and it took them 3.7 minutes to open it

Hummmmmmm..... BUG!!!

Brayden asked for Church clothes and sadly..... that's what he got.

But wait... before you feel too badly for the kid

Raleigh came through in the eleventh hour and worked some his "secret magic"
and got probably the sweetest deal
known to man on a Samsung Galaxy.

It involved him working very hard and getting the numbers he promised his
GM he could get in exchange for said sweet deal.

Quincey asked for a total room make over
She is very interested in Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe
so I bought her big pictures of both of them along with
anything that I saw that was cute in black, white and red.

Morgan asked for a park bench for her room and a GOOD hair straightener.
We found her a Chi in China.
We don't know if they work the same as Chi's you purchase in America but
the chances for a refund are slim.  And by slim, I mean IMPOSSIBLE,
so straighten away and let's all pretend it looks fabulous
Allie got clothes and a remote control car that goes faster than my car and Justin Bieber Beats.  Another one of Raleigh's deals.  She hasn't
taken them off all day.  Her dad got her VIP passes to his concert on Saturday in Salt Lake.
Maybe he will sign them for her??

Every year on the first day of the year, the adults go to lunch.  We have been doing it since 2008.
This year, we went to Sakura.  And as usual, it was delicious and fun

 Our chef was JonnyII

I love this picture...  Look at Kori's tongue sticking out
Raleigh made me take a prom picture by the tree in the lobby

Then we went back to our house to Celebrate Ryker's Birthday and to open cousin exchange gifts

 Kaleigh got a sweet Guitar

Ryker got tons of very cute clothes and as you can see, he was ONLY interested in the two plastic balls that he got and so, I opened all of his gifts for him because he wasn't about to put them down to open anything.

Here is the cake WE enjoyed
Here is the cake HE was about to enjoy...
Hooray!!!  This will be so fun!!
By the time he was finished, it looked like he'd smeared diarrhea all over his face
He cleans up nicely.
Yeah!!!  It's cool to be ONE.

So happy it's 2013
Happy New Year to all
