Happy Mother's Day, Dad

This morning when the kids heard Raleigh stirring, they came running in the bedroom with the big card that they had made and Peyton excitedly yelled "Happy Mother's Day, Dad"  and Kaleigh copied the sentiment because she says everything that Peyton says.  Brother brought up the rear with a big

"Happy Birthday".

It's the actions not the words that count.  And they were very excited to give him hugs and kisses.

 The whole fam came over for a bar-b-que

 I am so lucky that this is my dad.  I know of no other father like him.  

My whole life, he has always been a strong example of genuine love and kindness

and service.  He really loves our mom.  I always wanted to be loved the way my

dad loves my mom.  

 Never at any time did he ever make us feel like he was sad

that he had all these girls.  He just taught us how to love sports

and he loves our husbands.

I am so glad that now I can say that my husband treats me with the same

love and kindness.  I am so overjoyed that my children will be able to say

that their dad loved their mom.

And that they will be able to say that their dad is a good man.

Happy FATHER'S Day to all the dad's, who work so hard

and sacrifice so much, to give us all they can.
