School..... Blah!!

Another first day of school came and went in a total blur.  On Sunday, Allie made a snap decision to come back and live with me.  So I found myself in the office on Monday morning signing her up in a crazed fashion.  I've done this registering thing so many times, I didn't even have to think about it.  I had all the proper paperwork and documentation ready as fast as they could ask for it.  Literally, in 23 minutes I had her signed up, lunches pre-paid, schedule created.

Then on Tuesday night....late, Raleigh and I and the girls were at Walmart along with every other family in St. George getting last minute folders, pencils and Morgan's lunch items.  She HATES school lunch, so we had to stock up on Ruffles, Oreos and Ham.

Wednesday morning I went walking and got home in time to take photos and wave bye.  Then I ran in like a crazy person and got ready for work.
 Morgan
 My Freshman
Allie, my 6th grader

Quincey is a big, bad Junior and they didn't have to be to school until noon and she was sleeping during our photo shoot.   Her loss.  But she did venture over there and then had to be to work right after school.  I didn't see her until 7:30 and she had her work clothes on, so I really didn't get a picture of her.

Every one but Morgan had a great day.  Even Allie.  At a new school, where she changes classes.  She did a great job.

Oh my goodness, you are seriously like the busiest lady I know. I have no idea how you do it, your amazing! All the kids looked beautiful. I'm sure Q did too! That is happy news that Allie is back, but I'm sure it was a bit stressful since you weren't planning on it, well it would have been for me. Didn't it seem weird not having Brayden go to school. It sure did for me with not sending Blake. Oh how time flies. '

You are an amazing lady and I sure love ya!

I love the first day of school. I remember when I used to go to school with the kids and see their classrooms and take pictures of their cute new outfits, etc. Now they are all grown up and no one wants their grandmother there...sniff, sniff. Glad you took some pictures so I could pretend like I saw them.

Anyway, Morgan and Allie look cute, as always. I'm so happy that Allie had a good first day and I hope she has a great year. Sorry about Morgan, hopefully things have gotten better by now. Good Luck to ALL as another year begins...here we go!!

I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Brayden is no longer in school. How can that be?! Anyway, I am glad that Allie will be here this year for school. We like having her around. She and Morgan looked super cute for the first day!
