It's been two whole weeks since we've had a day off together. It feels like months. And I have been looking forward to today. We didn't do anything awesome. We were just together. And it was wonderful. The big kids are in Idaho. So, it's just the Lunds this week. We've enjoyed the quiet calmness of only three kids. But we have felt the effects of our break in routine.
We got all gussied up in our beautiful Springtime weather clothes
And of course.... because we are the Lunds.... we experienced a little car issue
And the kids got some Panda (their favorite) and I forgot how messy noodles are. Well, they are messy at home, but they are 10X messier when sitting outside on a slightly windy day.
I tried so hard not to have an anxiety attack every time I looked over there and they were touching the sick, nasty table with 11,000 diseases on it. I'm the world's biggest germaphobe.

But it was soooooo good
Brother was in a really bad mood. Super angry to be out. Mad to be in the car. Mad that he had to be in a high chair at the table. Mad that we kept buckling him in.
Here was my view at Costco.... not too shabby

You all looked so darling and springy...wish my love and I had a day off together that didn't consist of cleaning the bathrooms and doing laundry. I don't even appreciate weekends anymore.
I wish you had taken a picture of Ryker's heels so all would understand why he was soooo crabby. Apparently when you wear new shoes all day and you walk in those new shoes all day, you get bad blisters and they hurt. I bet if his shoes had come off he would have been happy as a clam. Poor little boy!
Looks like a very fun day. I heard the weather was lovely. Since we were inside all day we didn't get to see it but I'm so glad you got to enjoy it and spend some time together. I love Costco dates, they're my favorite. We're having one today. I hope you get many more fun days together this Spring.
Im glad you guys got a day to enjoy yourselves and be together! Everyone looked SO darling as usual. Your kids always look just perfect. Clothes clean and pressed and hair just right. Your kids are my favorite kind of kids!
