February 2024

February was VERY emotional for me.  Not caused by me.  Caused by everyone around me.   But I was in the depths of whatever emotion all month long.  Happy, sad, angry, frustrated, worried, stressed, anxious, elated, excited.  You name it, I felt it this month.  While my personal life was steady, everyone around me had a thing and I was involved somehow and it caused emotions in me.  I didn't like it one bit.

Stupid February

And also, a lot happened that I am not at liberty to talk about but it was BIG stuff.

We had several co-workers leave us this month.
And a couple of them were very sad for me.
I will miss them terribly and things won't be the same with out them.
I hate attending going away parties for people I am sad to see go.

Poor Lexi cried the entire day...
And had to wear her sunglasses the whole day.
Literally sobbing at the party.
I felt so badly for her.  She's so sweet.
She will be so sad back in her office without them.

Peyton and I were in charge of the combined activity this month.
We did speed friendshipping and it was so fun to watch the girls lean in and
look each other in the eye and really try to listen and connect.
It was a complete success.
34 girls chattering away

We were able to to to the Red Cliffs Temple open house TWICE
this month and OH. MY. GOSH.....
There isn't a temple on earth prettier or decorated better on the inside than
The Red Cliffs Temple in St. George Utah.
The main underlying base color is DEEP PURPLE.
So BOLD!!!
And so gorgeous!!
The accent fabrics on the chairs are to die for.
I could cry over the accent fabrics in the baptistry and the off white chairs with the
tiny purple flowers.
Total Emotion.
I cannot wait to go there often and really look around.
Also the celestial room.
Happiest Place On Earth for sure.

Our KPI party this month was a movie night for the entire family.
We watched Boys in the Boat.
It was pretty good.
I had to cancel my hair appointment to attend which caused
all kinds of stress and emotion.
But we ate Chick fil A before, we snuck all kids of treats in under our coats,
it poured rain all day leading up to it and so it could not have been a bad day.

2nd temple visit with the ward.
73 kids from our ward attended.

KK is getting ready for braces.
She had a little cavity and had to have 3 teeth pulled.
Of course she was unemotional and has the pain tolerance of no one I have ever known.
This picture does not do justice the beauty of our city this day.
I wish I could have captured what it really looked like outside our work window this day.
It was breathtaking.

A couple of very big, events happed this month.
Which caused massive reflection.
I ugly cried a couple of the days trying to figure out how to deal.
I loved the whisperings that I received when I least expected them with sound, uplifting
words of encouragement.
I don't know how people handle life without the Savior in it with them?
I relied on his guidance like 24 of the 29 days and He never let me down.

I am just happy to say that I am glad March is upon us and maybe just maybe we can
have a status quo month and not have to battle through tough stuff for a while.

Haha...
Like that will happen
