A Super Blessing

Let me first start out by putting some perspective on this weekend

Every year, we have a Superbowl party.
Last year we combined it with Kaleigh's blessing.
THIS year we combined it with Ryker's blessing.
Something is wrong with us
Saturday night the family started arriving. We got the party started with a little dancing.
And ONE of us was NAILING the moves. And one of us was just straight up confused.
Yes, we totally try and wear matching outfits wherever we go

Next...

we left 11 children dancing and screaming and doing who know what else at our house
and the adults went to dinner at Rumbi
Kami and Brent
Kori and Russ
Kaci and Raleigh
We were joined by mom and dad, of course and
Dave and Cathy Sandberg and Val and Matt Bateman
It was so nice to just sit and visit with everyone and
get a little break

Next...

We went back home and celebrated Kori and Garrett's birthdays
With LOTS of cousins

The next day...
Mom and the girls decorated our front yard
Kaleigh
Peyton
And Dada and Ryker are ready for the big day

Next...
Everyone came back to our house for breakfast.
Ummmmmm........I don't know what is happening here
The Little Women
I made crepes for everyone
And there were a TON of people too
And at least a million kids
Brayden and Garrett

Then....

The Superbowl Party began downstairs
And we all ate... AGAIN

And some of us stole other people's plates and plopped themselves right in the middle of the floor and indulged without a care in the world
Ava Sundloff DIVING off of the stage. This is the greatest picture I have ever seen.
Look at Braydens sick hairy legs and his black church socks with his basketball shorts... UGH
Yay!!! Another successful Blessing/Superbowl Sunday. Thanks to everyone traveling long distances, for coming to our EARLY church and for making our day so fun.
I promise there will NOT be a threepeat
This girl needs a break

First off, someone's picture is missing from the Rumbi dinner...I would just like to go on record saying that Dad and I were there too. The birthday celebration following dinner was especially fun. It's not often that we get all 12 of our grandchildren in one place at one time, so this will be a memorable event. Now as for the rest of the festive weekend...we loved it all. The blessing was beautiful, Raleigh outdid himself with articulate words and a loud, clear and understandable voice. All the men looked so handsome standing in the circle. It was another memorable event. The food following the blessing was wonderful and I thought it all went well considering we had SO MANY children there. P.S. Don't make promises you might not beable to keep but I do agree, you DO need a break!
