Bitter:
1. No more free babysitters
2. Everyone needs rides every where
3. Parents have to "attend" things
4. Bedtimes/Showers/Homework have to be enforced
5. Lots of whining
6. It's freakin' expensive
Sweet:
1. My house is clean
2. My food doesn't get eaten as fast
3. We're back into a routine
4. No more boredom
5. No more kids hanging out at our house for all hours of the day
We were so rushed this year trying to get every one registered. I took two LONG lunches to help them. I was completely emotionally drained afterward. They need me to help them choose electives and pay fees and buy yearbooks and I kept picturing myself at graduation in 9 months and it made me feel kinda sick. And then, I pictured myself at Ryker's graduation and I could almost throw up. I will be 59 years old. Poor Kid!! But we will cross that bridge another day.
It would seem that every one did really well today and had a great day. The best part was how excited they were that they saw so many of their friends from four years ago. Each one of them had an old friend in each class. Quincey said it felt like she'd never left. That makes me feel so happy. What a flawless move this has been. So many things could have gone astronomically wrong, but haven't.

| Here are the Seniors. Brayden and his life long pal, Jamie. They didn't have to be to school until noon. So they woke up, went to breakfast at IHOP and then laid in bed and watched Iron Man until it was time to saunter over to the High School |

I'm so happy that everything has gone so well with your family and your move back there. I am glad that the kids are happy and doing so well! They all look so nice and well put together-as usual!
I couldn't agree more with your bitter and sweet list that's exactly how I feel. I especially at the moment agree with the freakin expensive part. Geesh....it could send ya to the poor house! My kids started school last week and I thought okay were done with the expenses now of starting school...nope every single day someone comes home and says I need money for this or that or something. Good grief...whew!
I also feel your pain about having a boy graduating in 9 months. I get a little teary eyed thinking about it. I also got a little teary eyed thinking that I only have 4 more first days of school left! What the crap? Man maybe I need another baby...on second thought it would probably push me right over the top to start all over at this moment. You are one heck of a lady to raise teenagers and babies at the same time.

P.S. When Ryker graduates no one will ever no your 59. You don't look near old enough to have Brayden so you'll probably look just right when Ryker graduates.

Oh how I loved senior year and only being at school for 3 hours and spending the rest of the day at the beach! Man I miss those days.
I am glad everyone got to where they needed to go and that the hectic day turned out to be a good one.
59...holy cow!!! That is not something to think about. Lets cross that bridge with walkers when we come to it! :)

All the kids look so cute and so ready for the first day. I can't believe they all got registered and to the right school at the right time and then returned home again in one piece. What a HUGE accomplishment!

You are right you are meant to be there. IDK why I wait so long to read your posts. I love every one of them. I find it funny that we have 3 girls that are the same age. My Morgan is a Sophomore this year, My Hailey an 8th grader, and my Sara is a 5th grader. I am so happy that you love being in your new area. We have a bit to do in our new home. Eventually I will blog about it. LOL. Also I loved your post on the file cards.
