Thankful....... November 14th

When we moved into our house in JULY, one of the selling points by the previous owner was the wall heater in the Master Bathroom.  Granted, our Master Bath is as big as some people's bedrooms, but for the life of us, we couldn't figure out why this was such a fantastic addition to the house.  And we both said on several occasions....  "we will NEVER use that."

Well, when November approached and 6:00 am showers seemed to be getting colder and colder, I finally decided to try out the wall heater...  and OH.... MY..... GOSH.....  It is to die for.

I turn it on very first thing when I wake up.  It lets out a gentle hum that keeps me company while I am lathering up.  And when I get out, the bathroom is the perfect "get out of the shower" temperature.

Then I stand by it while I am drying off and it is so delightful.

The kids MUST stand by it right when they get out of the tub.  It's a ritualistic thing now.

When I get home from running errands and I am a little chilled, I run straight into the bathroom and stand by it until I am warm.

What a ridiculous thing to be grateful for.....but I really am.

On a deeper level of gratitude....Happy Birthday to our Sweet Grandma Lou who would have been 101 today.  I wish more than anything that you could have experienced one of your "bucket list" items..... to be on Willard Scott's Happy Birthday Segment of the Today Show.  You were the sweetest, kindest, most positive person I've ever known.

It's November 14th................and I'm Thankful for Grandma Lou and my in- wall space heater

Happy bday to Grandma Lou! I've heard some very sweet stories about her.
That wall heater sounds very delightful! I'm always cold in the mornings when I'm getting ready in the Winter months. Yay for a wall heater!

Awesome wall heater. Never heard of such a thing. Love the little towel babe standing by it. My grandpa Carl (my dads dad) would have been 103 today.

Happy birthday to Grandma-Lou...I can't even imagine how nutty she'd be is she were still alive today. She is missed.
I love that picture of KaKa...I miss my little babies all bundled up in big towels with wet hair and wrinkled toes and fingers...well not really...but I love remembering when they were little like that! :)
