Thankful... November 3rd

My poor little boy is cutting four teeth this week.  He is miserable.  At least that is what I am telling myself to make myself feel better.  He hasn't slept well for over a week.  Raleigh takes the first shift from 10pm to 2am and then I wake up and take over from 2:00 on.  I finally got sick of holding him and I put him in his car seat and took him for a drive.  He fell asleep immediately, however the second we pulled into the driveway, he woke up again.  So I took him from his carseat and put him in the stroller with 11 blankets and went for an early morning walk in the dark.  He fell asleep again and so I just kept walking.  I weaved in and out of neighborhoods and I wasn't even completely sure where I was.

When a car rolled up on me.  I thought... "what does this sicko want?"  He stopped his car right next to me and rolled down his window and then I realized it was Raleigh.

I said "what in the world?  How on this green earth did you ever find me?"  He said  "I tracked you with my 'find my iPhone' app" and he was beaming with pride because I was complicatedly lost.  I said... "That's pretty cool, Lover, but why are you looking for me?"  He said  "I want to take my wife to breakfast.  I brought the carseat and a bottle."

I completely forgot that I was practically the walking dead and I enjoyed my morning with my favorite person. I love him with all of my heart and my whole soul.  He is the reason I love my life so much.  He makes me happy every single day.  I don't want to think of the person I would be or the sadness I would feel  had I never known him and had I not had the opportunity to love him for the rest of my existence.  He is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.

It's November 3rd.  And I am thankful for Raleigh.
